“Faced with the threat of the far right, to which Macron has prepared the ground with his brutal, anti-social policies, Formes des luttes joins the dynamic of the new Popular Front, to build an alternative of social progress to Macronism and fascism. The RN is just as much an enemy of working people and an ally of the rich and powerful as Macron is. It is an even worse enemy, which risks making social protest impossible. In the face of scapegoating, we need to fight together to win new rights, to share wealth, to respond to social and ecological emergencies, to defend and develop our common assets of public services, social security and all the structures put in place by the labor movement in the 20th century, from the Popular Front of 1936 to the National Council of the Resistance.”
