“The aim of my dissertation is the analysis of similar
behaviour patterns in hacker culture and contemporary art
from a historical perspective. The goal of this research is
not limited to presenting one of the most exciting developments shaping our globalized digital culture, within the
context of arts and academia, but extends to connecting
this development to distinct cultural-artistic assumptions
and thus sheds light on perhaps elusive structural patterns,
laying the groundwork for new discourses”
